We had a surprise 65th bday party for my mom which was not without significant DRAMA...but this blog is not called DRAMA MAMA...so let's talk about the CRAFT!
I bought the 5 pic frame at Target (my mom has 5 grandkids so I got the 5 frame - they had ones with more or less frames in it if your mama has more or less grandkids!) Then I had each grandkid draw a picture of my mom on a 4x6 piece of cardstock. Even the little ones (although my brother significantly helped with my 11 month old nieces pic!) Then I printed up little photos of the kids to place underneath each kids pics. At first I was going to write their names, but the little photos seemed sweeter and more representative of the kids at this age. Then I had Lily title it with Happy 65th Birthday Grandma Susan.
How freaking cute!
It was a hit with my mom and all of her friends. They wanted to commission me to do one for them. Uh...NO!
